Doug
Morris, Videographer and Editor
Doug
Morris will go a long way to capture great footage — make
that a long way, straight up.
Lugging
heavy camera equipment, he and producer Diane Dimoff hiked the
narrow staircase to the top of the West Virginia State Capitol
to shoot some breathtaking shots for the Capitol documentary.
A
videographer and editor at MotionMasters, Doug used his nearly
30 years of experience in production services when he went to
the editing room to piece together that footage and mounds of
other great video.
Doug’s
travels have taken him a lot farther than up some steep steps
at the Capitol. How about half way across the world? He has
been on location in Africa for three separate productions, including
work he did for the documentary "A Principled Man: Rev.
Leon Sullivan."
He
began working as a contractor for MotionMasters more than a
decade ago and was hired full time in 2005. Doug juggles many
responsibilities at the company, from setup to shooting to editing
to formatting video.
Among
his many credits, Doug teamed with Diane to produce an educational
video titled "Recognizing Child Abuse," which is in
distribution throughout the United States.
