Diane Dimoff, Producer
Many
area residents recall Diane Dimoff from her days as a television
journalist at WSAZ. They may be unaware of her talents as a
ringmaster.
As
the producer of "A Moving Monument: The West Virginia State
Capitol," Diane spearheaded a yearlong project that involved
so many parts it was like managing a high-flying circus.
Whether
it was tracking down rare photos and video or finding voice
actors to add some drama, she pulled all the pieces together
to turn what could have been chaos into an outstanding documentary.
Diane scheduled, conducted and weaved all the interviews into
the documentary. She also played a key role in fund raising,
writing several grant proposals and coordinating underwriting
requests to about 140 prospective donors. She has been an award-winning
radio and television journalist in both small and major markets
and has more than a decade of storytelling experience.
Diane
has written and produced features and breaking news, telling
stories that were relevant and compelling, meaningful and memorable.
Her stories have been featured on CNN and MSNBC. As a producer
and writer at MotionMasters, Diane has written and produced
several long format productions and commercials on a variety
of subjects, including health care, academics and athletics.
She also has lent her on-air presence and experience to several
projects as a narrator and host.
